Lord Colin Moynihan

Chairman, Amey UK Limited and Former Olympic Chief

Moynihan was Minister for Sport from 1987-1990 in Margaret Thatcher’s government and also served as Energy Minister and Environment Minister under John Major.

Moynihan served as both energy minister for Thatcher and John Major’s governments and has held a number of other positions in Parliament, including minister for the environment and minister for sport.

In addition to these former roles, he also acted as chairman of the UK Renewable Energy Advisory Group and was the first president of the British Wind Energy Association.
